Domenico Vicini Becomes Oldest Player to Ever win a Davis Cup Match

Age is just a number. That is the age-old saying, but yesterday, San Marino native Domenico Vicini proved it to be true. Turning 51 in September, the Italian-born tennis player became the oldest player to ever win an official Davis Cup match.

Three years ago, he became the oldest tennis player to win a singles match at the Davis Cup level at the age of 47 years young. While his debut for his country was in 1993... Bravo Domenico, Bravo!
